This season at the Snow Ball, we are excited to present a new format of events with a social/cocktail hour and silent auction from 5:30pm to 7:30pm, followed by live music and raffle from 7:45pm to closing. Our vision is to give guests an opportunity to socialize in a quieter setting before the headlining music starts. We will have bistro tables set up, will be providing light appetizers, and have local beer and wine for purchase. We hope to see you there!
The Snow Ball is also one of the organization's biggest fundraising events to support the Mount Shasta Avalanche Center. The headlining band is Moon Mountain Ramblers from Bend, Oregon. One of Central Oregon’s most popular bands, Moon Mountain Ramblers blend bluegrass, jazz, roots-rock, and just about anything to get people up and dancing. Check out their website and get excited: http://www.moonmountainramblers.com/
As always, there will be an extensive raffle and silent auction throughout the night with prizes from The Fifth Season, Patagonia, REI, The Bike Store, as well as local artists and businesses. There will also be an exclusive member only raffle of avalanche rescue equipment. Members must be present to win.
Also on January 20th the Shasta Ascension Backcountry Race will be held at the Mt Shasta Ski Park. Click here for more details.
