As a "bomb cyclone" spins into the Mount Shasta area today bringing a potentially historic storm, we are beginning to get our minds back into thoughts of winter recreation and, of course, avalanche danger. Look for our first avalanche forecast this Saturday, November 30.

Blizzard conditions exist down to 2000 ft and a winter storm warning will remain in effect until 10 a.m. Wednesday. Be careful out there. Happy Thanksgiving and we'll see you this weekend.
