Saw three recent avalanches while skiing.
All seemed to be naturally triggered, as there were no other skiers in the area, and no ski or skin tracks in the new snow. All were on S or SW aspects. One was on Diamond Peak, the others were on the Emerald Sidehill, one above the road, the other below the road.
I didn't get close enough to get many details, but they looked like they failed at the old/new snow interface, about 50 cm down. All were D2-2.5, by my estimation. Hundreds of feet wide. On Diamond Peak I could see loose slide debris on top of the slab avalanche bed surface, as well.
Sorry the pictures don't give much detail, but if you look closeley, you can see the crowns. The Emerald slide pic has two distinct avalanches, one above the road and one below.
