Snowpack Observations

Details

Soft, "hot" powder, 8 inches deep or so, skied fairly well on southerly aspects. Northwest aspect, warm, heavy/wet powder, small surface slough at 3pm on 37 degrees slope. Firm, wind packed powder with icy crust in exposed areas along the ridgelines.
