Details

measured about 20cm new snow sitting on firm, frozen crust. Multiple hand and hasty tests revelealed instability within new snow. Every (6/6) column failed when isolating block. Failure occured within density change within new snow. Warming temps and snow obs showed upside down layering. Wind loading suspect on multiple aspects but observations limited due to poor visibilty.
