Snow levels are verifying at around 6000 ft with freezing levels slightly higher at 6300 ft.

Height of new snow (HN):

  • Bunny Flat (6900 ft): 1/2 in (1.25 cm) @ 12 p.m.
  • Old Ski Bowl Weather Station (7600 ft): 1 in (2.5 cm) @ 12:15 p.m.
  • Old Ski Bowl (8800 ft): 2 in (5 cm) @ 12:45 p.m.

Snow above 8000 ft is dry, accumulating at about 1 cm/hr, and would have made the skiing smooth and fast. Visibility is challenging and limited to about 300 ft (100 m). Coverage below 8000 ft remains sparse.

Winds are calm to light with no signs of wind slab formation or snowpack instabilities.
