West Face Gully

Solo climber attempting West Face gully.  Route to Hidden Valley predominantly scree with some patches of snow along the route. Encountered some post-holing during afternoon approach. Hidden Valley floor is currently a mix of exposed dirt / rock (30%) and inches of snow covering rock (70%); camp-site area entirely exposed. Snow had solidified during the night with climb beginning slightly before first light. Gully conditions decent, but on last legs (patchy areas). Climber turned around at 11k due to strong winds. 

Other notes: No running water encountered on route.  No other climbers encountered. Did not observe any rockfall while watching route prior to morning attempt.
