Ash Creek Butte still hosts a usable snow pack, though south facing aspects have little to no snow near the tops of ridges.
Road 19 is mostly devoid of snow 2.75 miles in from Pilgrim Creek Snowmobile Park. The turn off to Ash Creek Butte along this road is the best place to park. The road in from here has intermittent patches of no snow for about 3 miles until continuous snow on road conditions begin. See map below for details.
