A few photos from a tour in the Castle Lake Basin and up and over to Castle Spire yesterday. South and east aspects held some moments of ski brilliance near the 1300 to 1400 hours. It was very windy over ridgelines, enough to blow a jacket away that was never found. Dang it. Size large puffy down in the Castle Spire drainage if you're inclined to search. Snow surfaces are variable as expected. Coverage is still decent. Appeared that the northerly face of the spire had slid at some point, weeks ago. The lake is frozen and supportable.
