Snowpack Observations

Details

The Mount Shasta Ski Park has received over 9' of snow since the series of storms beginning on 1/17, 34" since Saturday night.

No red flags were observed today within the park boundary. The Eagle's Flight Cliffs yielded no ski triggered releases.

Test profile was dug below the 1/8 rain layer (180 cm, 71 in). All Deep Tap Tests yielded no results. No concerning or consistent CT or ECT tests were observed. CT30 SP @ 90 cm , CT23 RP @ 43 cm,  CT26 RP @ 64 cm, CT 26 SP @ 112 cm, ECTN23 @ 52cm BKN.
