Snowpack Observations
Details
- Dozens of long, 2 inch wide cracks found between 9,500-10,400 on southern aspects. These were mainly found on the convex parts of the slopes.
- Falling debris from the Red Banks, Casaval and Green Butte Ridge. Consistent falling ice for about 1 hour as I ended my skin at 10,400.
- Great skiing on thawing corn like snow (approximately 11:30 p.m.)
