Snowpack Observations

Details

  • Good corn skiing throughout the day
  • Old loose wet slides visible
  • Cornices solid
  • No rollerballs/pinwheels
  • Thin ice lens with icy scabs in areas
  • Hard, thick water ice / rime ice plastered to rocks in exposed areas at upper elevations
  • Boot penetration 5-10 cm
  • Clear Creek and Sargents Ridge routes are in good shape
