General Conditions at Pilgrim Creek Snowmobile Park & Ash Creek Butte:

Roads from the Pilgrim Creek Snowmobile Park are covered with a thin layer of icy snow just beyond the parking lot. There are bare spots down low but expect the roads to mostly covered while temperatures remain cold. Hard pack conditions are widespread throughout the area up to Ash Creek Butte - hard enough to break your snowmobile scratchers. Wind protected areas around Ash Creek Butte have 1-3 inches of low density snow but coverage is sporadic. Some small, inconsequential wind slabs were encountered, but no notable instabilities were seen.
