A 2-day storm that began on the evening of November 6th brought ~30 inches of snow to near treeline areas on Mount Shasta, measured by our Old Ski Bowl weather station. This is a healthy start to the season, a good dollop to fill in all those cracks and crevices in between rocks. New snow fell on bare ground. We are still in our base building phase, but not looking a gift horse in the mouth.

A few local shredders ventured out, no reports yet. The road to Bunny Flat is plowed, and the facilities are free of snow. Mostly clear skies are in the forecast for the near future.
